Volleyball Legends Update 79 launched on July 18, 2026, introducing Season 17 with a festival theme. This is a major update that adds style bans to Pro+ ranked matches, balance changes across several top-tier styles, a new festival rooftop map, a limited-time 2x Luck Event, and a full set of seasonal cosmetics. Three new codes were released alongside the update.
Update 79 active codes
The biggest gameplay change in Update 79 is the addition of style bans in Pro+ ranked matches. Each team now bans one style before the match starts, removing two styles from the pool per match. This forces players to develop deeper style rosters and adapt their strategies based on which styles are unavailable. Riku, Kumo, and Taichou are frequent first-ban targets.
Update 79 balance changes
A limited-time 2x Luck Event ran from July 18 to July 20, 2026, doubling Secret style drop rates from 0.5% to 1% and reducing the pity timer from 200 spins to 100. This event has ended as of the current date.
The Festival Rooftop map replaces or alternates with the standard court, featuring a festival-themed redesign with decorative elements, new lighting, and background scenery. The map plays like a standard court but with visual flair matching the Season 17 theme.
Update 79 brought three new codes: UPDATE_79, SEASON_17, and FESTIVAL_UPD. Previous codes from Update 78 (UPDATE_78, LEADERBOARD, NEW_PACK) have expired. Always redeem new codes as soon as possible — update-specific codes rarely survive the next patch.
