Season 17 in Volleyball Legends brings a festival theme with an extensive set of new cosmetics, score effects, emotes, and the redesigned Festival Rooftop map. This guide covers every cosmetic item introduced in the Festival Season (Update 79) so you know what is available and how to get it.
Season 17 score effects
Season 17 introduces at least three new emotes. The most notable is Ride a Firework — a festival-themed celebration emote. Additional emotes are available through the Season 17 Battle Pass and the festival event store. Emotes can be equipped from the customization menu and used during matches to celebrate points or communicate with teammates.
Festival-themed volleyball skins are available in multiple tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and the exclusive Winged Ball. These skins change the appearance of the volleyball during matches. Higher-tier skins typically require more grinding or paying for the premium Season Pass track. The Winged Ball is expected to be the rarest and most visually distinct option.
The Festival Rooftop map is a redesigned version of the standard court with a rooftop party theme. It includes decorative string lights, festival banners, and nighttime ambiance. The map plays identically to standard courts — the changes are purely visual. It rotates in the matchmaking pool alongside other maps and may appear in both casual and ranked modes.
Festival Season (Season 17) runs from July 18, 2026, with no confirmed end date yet. Previous seasons have lasted 4-8 weeks.
