Volleyball Legends Update 78

Volleyball Legends Update 78 dropped in mid-July 2026, bringing Taichou back to the weekly rotation, a new Energy Card Pack, an end-screen leaderboard for ranked matches, and three new active codes. The 2x Luck event ran from July 11–13, doubling Secret style drop rates and halving pity requirements. This guide covers everything new in Update 78.

Taichou is a Secret rarity setter with the Power Set ability — his sets give spikers a boosted attack, making spikes more powerful and harder to block. During his availability window, players who missed him in previous rotations can acquire him through the gacha system. Taichou excels in setter-focused team compositions where quick, powerful attacks can overwhelm the opponent's defense.

Ranked matches in Update 78 now feature an end-screen leaderboard that shows player rankings and post-game stats at a glance. This quality-of-life improvement makes it easier to see how you performed relative to other players in the match. You can also access other player profiles from the leaderboard, making it easier to find and add skilled teammates.
